Lindsay Lohan Re-Creates Famous Nude Photo Shoot

Six weeks before she was found dead from an overdose in California, photographer Bert Stern did a famous nude photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe. Now, 21-year-old starlet Lindsay Lohan is featured in a tribute to that shoot.

In the Feb. 18 issue of New York magazine, Lohan appears in a blonde "Marilyn" wig and not much else, besides the same types of scarves and jewelry that Monroe wore in her 1962 shoot at the Hotel Bel-Air.

Lohan, who did the shoot in the same hotel, said, "I didn't have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It's really an honor."

Big Bottoms Craze Wobbles in Ivory Coast

A new dance craze is sweeping the Ivory Coast following the release of a song called “Bobaraba” or "big bottom". The craze is being blamed for the mushrooming sales of black market products designed to increase the size of the female backside.

When the music plays in the clubs and discotheques, locals rush to shake their stuff and the dance has even been adopted by football stars who now wiggling their rear ends after scoring goals.

DJ Mix, one of the craze's creators, told the BBC: "We made it as a tribute to women, because African women are defined by the shape of their bottoms” meanwhile women queue to buy injections in the markets or creams to make their backsides bigger.

Toshiba Officially Discontinues HD DVD

Citing "recent major changes in the market" Toshiba announced this morning that it will "no longer develop, manufacture and market HD DVD players and recorders".

Shipments to retailers will be reduced and Toshiba aims to stop shipments by the end of March.
